The Freedom Dragons and several of the Portland teams will be there! This is a great time of year for a race. If you haven't already made plans, do come down. It's a fun race!

Correct me if i'm wrong, but wasn't this event held along side with the Rose festival in June just before Alcan ?? Have they changed the date, as i have not been down there since 2002/3 ?? How ever it is truly a great venue !!

This is a different race put on by a different organization. Same venue as the Rose Festival race (which is still in June), but not in the big boats.

We have added a beer garden, food/merchandise vendors and are planning a huge Paddlers party on Saturday night. The beer garden is being hosted by Kai Ikaika and the Paddlers party is being hosted by Sync Or Swim.
Come on down to Portland for our new venue at our new location.

This should be a great weekend! Nice change of location, too.
