Hi Everyone!

I know this is gonna be a long shot, but after our first practice, we noticed that we are missing one of our paddles since the Alcan Festival. It was last seen after our Comp D final race in the grassy area near the marshalling area.

It is a brand new (just started using it this season!) Reactor II Burnwater paddle that is 49" in length. The only thing on that paddle is a small orange rectangular sticker that says 49" near the T-Handle.

If anyone has picked up a new lucky paddle that was lying around, please PM me! I'll owe you some drinks for sure!

Thanks for your time!

have you tried the office at DZ? I think I saw a brand new Burnwater there, definitely longer than my 46". Don't get your hopes up though, DZ's honour system has faded substantially in the past few years.

Hmmm... that might a problem... I'm in Edmonton and was only in Vancouver for the weekend of the festival... is there a way to contact the DZ office?

Thanks for the reply mandachan!

Well, the paddle has been found... it was right where it was supposed to be all along... one of my teamates thought it was somebody else's paddle... thanks for the reply though Mandachan! Hehehe...

Glad you found the misplaced paddle!

Btw, I've heard rumblings of edmonton forming a U23 team for this year or the next? is that true?

Thanks NFW!

I haven't heard anything about a U23 team from our club, but things can also change at anytime... hehehe...
