Totally off-topic (its ok, its the general chat forum), I keep seeing your old Del Sol running around the LMD. Paint is still looking decent.

last I saw it was in port moody.. but that was a few years ago.

I remember my selling feature of it was (besides the new paint job), "hey, if it survived a trip to NYC and back, I'm sure it'll do you fine".  Great car.. miss it a lot.   But I miss my turbo firefly more ;P

I really miss the rawness of the SHO sometimes...   I had it pretty much where I wanted it for performance, but it either needed to be gutted and caged, and therefore more performance stuff on top of that to really make the most of it, or the interior and A/C had to be completely redone. Both were more than I wanted to deal with, but probably would have cost less than the new car I bought instead.   Hitting a wall

lol.. don't worry colossus, just look at the new car as a means of self control/"maturity".   The SHO (like most/all project cars) would be neverending if you went down that road.   It would never stop, and before you know it, it would be so "unstreetable" that it won't be fun anymore.   You will be paranoid about it when you go in to watch a movie, dinner, etc..

besides.. would the wifey have approved?  Razz

I think if I had re-done the interior and A/C, probably.  And probably if I had kept it as-is, as well. I just wasn't allowed to keep it as a toy when I bought the new one. So I bought a motorcycle instead.  Laughing

A black, 2008 Suzuki GSXF650. And already thinking of selling....   Serves me right for buying a house in Vancouver.

No, it had 1 previous owner and only 1500km when I got it. Was barely broken in. Its a great bike for me cause I'm not having to be curled up in a tiny ball like a pure sport bike. Its more upright and saves my back and knees from having to meet.
