The 22nd Annual FCRCC Women’s Regatta and Breast Cancer Survivor Event will be held once again, this year on Saturday, May 25th, 2019 in Vancouver, BC  (Memorial Day weekend for our American neighbours.)

The Women’s Regatta is a sanctioned race by Dragon Boat Canada and is part of the DBC Race Series for 2019!

This one day event has every team participating in three 500m races within the day.

Along with some great vendors for browsing between races, NEW THIS YEAR, is the Limerick Contest!
Not only will the top 5 limericks be presented by their teams, the winning team gets free entry to next years event!
*** be sure to check out the rules and regs for the Limerick Contest ***   (insert link)

And, as in previous years, the Breast Cancer Survivor Challenge Race followed by the very moving Flower Ceremony, in memory of those who have lost their battle to cancer, will occur during the break at around midday.  The BCS Event is hosted and organized by the False Creek Premier team and is sponsored once again by Abreast In A Boat (AIAB)

The race venue is in Vancouver’s action-packed Olympic Village with many restaurants and hotels within walking distance, all easily accessible over land by Skytrain and over water by Aquabus and False Creek Ferries.

The race day runs from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm, times confirmed via Race Grid - yes! you will have time at the end of the day for that nice cold (or hot!) one   Dance

For further information and to Register go to The False Creek Women's Regatta & BCS Event via

Hope to see you on May 25th!

cheers,
Race Director
