That's true, man I hope that's an error.
I talked to Greg Lamb about the CF paddles, and he said they were good for use anywhere, but I dunno if he had Vic and Kel on his radar.
I sent an e-mail to Vic & Kel, hopefully they'll come back with some good news.
They are approved for use in Vancouver, which is the most important festival anyways, so at least it's not a complete waste.
On the Subject of Burnwater's Reactor paddle, I found out last night that they are currently redesigning it to add more strength through the base of the shaft. Two paddles broke during Alcan, and one girl had a big chunk broken off on the blade area after smacking against another paddle.. in warm up.
They obviously didn't engineer the blade area to take high loads in all directions..
I'm waiting for word on how they redesign the paddle at Burnwater. If it is not sufficient, then I'll be looking into this one
