Hi there.  I am looking to join a fun team for 2007.   I would be available for two or three practices a week, and my weekends are open.  I am required to travel for work on occasion, but never on weekends (i.e. am committed to attending festivals). I am not available on Mondays and Wednesdays as I have previous commitments those nights.  I live near Granville Island, so False Creek or Dragon Zone would probably work best for me.  I would also go to Richmond.

I have six years experience - paddling and coaching in Victoria - but I haven't been on the water in three years (so will need some time and patience allowed for reconditioning, and a technique refresher).  I am keen to get back on the water, and would love to find a team that is committed equally to getting better all the time and having fun.

My philosophy: While winning races is in fact the main objective, a strong effort and a team-best performance deserves (almost) as much celebration (even if there is no medal at the end of the day).

Please be in touch if you think you may have a home for me and my paddle.  Email is [email protected]

Paddles up!
