I recently sent the following notice to all teams that paddle out of Dragon Zone on False Creek but it probably makes sense to post it here too.
As the season intensifies and Dragon Zone gets busier we are looking to hire a few more part time staff to cover shifts. Could you please spread the word among your teams? Paddlers that enjoy being active within the dragon boating community, are good with people, responsible and have a Tuesday Wednesday or Thursday evening or weekend morning free are encouraged to contact me. The work involves unlocking the facilities and boats before practices and securing everything again at the end of practices, providing assistance to teams, keeping the trailer clean and tidy, advising Dragon Zone coordinator and other staff of issues that arise, moving the boats around and monitoring teams down on the docks.
