What a great weekend of racing!

The caliber of the teams we raced against in the Club Crew Championships was amazing. Our team (River City Dragons) although not up near the top was never the less very happy with our times. The experience of racing with such high caliber competition will no doubt help us move forward to improve.

The venue and operations staff were great! They really came through, especially on Sunday when the weather was not as cooperative as it could be (hey were from Winnipeg but even we were cold), with a job well done.

Congratulations to the teams going to Malaysia and good luck, I know you will represent Canada well.

For those teams going we will see you in Kelowna in a couple of weeks!

I think the name is "Freshly Impacted Wahine Fish", which sounds slightly inappropriate, accounting for our behaviour most of the weekend!  I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to paddle with in Calgary!  You all are the best! It was nice to bring some bling home to BC!

Does anyone know if there are pictures posted for this festival?
