similar races in Thailand.  something like 50 rows of paddlers.

That picture is even crazier than the first one. I want to try...

One day I will build a double-decker dragonboat (later, double decker Aranmula) and I will leave the entirety of DBW in awe.

Wow!  Talk about timing issues!  I don't think they'd ever allow this in North America - too many people and no pfd's!
