I had to go back a few times until someone was at the tent so I could sign it. Sad

Is it still possible to get someone to pass the petition around FCRCC or DZ? I'm sure that a lot of paddlers missed it.

yea im sure it would get a lot more signatures if it was put up at fcrcc and/or d zone. i only found it at the festival because i was looking at the edge water casino tent and it was right beside it. it probably woulda been better if it was a bigger tent and more advertising....

Beside the stage? I know that I definitely didn't even go anywhere near there! I agree that it should get passed around DZ and FCCC. I'm curious to know if anyone knows how many signatures are on it now?

I never did get to sign the petition - nor did anyone on my team. Has anyone determined if it is around somewhere?

The petition will be going on-line in a few days, according to Festival Manager Ann Phelps.

She told me that there are over 6000 signatures, and whole teams were signing on the weekend.

Today there doesn't even seem to be a facebook group yet. Whoever's on point on this campaign needs to spread the word about what paddlers need to do a bit better. The majority of paddlers, like me, don't keep up with what's going on in these forums, so there needs to be another way to get everyone involved.

Ask and you shall receive...
