This is very late in being done, however on behalf of the Gift of Life we would like to send a HUGE thanks to
all the ladies in Kelowna that helped us fill our team at the Kelowna festival. We couldn't have raced without you, and I can't say enough good things about how you all chipped in to help, no questions, no concerns. Absolutely fabulous, and if I may say, this is exactly what the dragon boat community is all about. I have participated in team sports my entire life and never had the community spirit in any other sport like I have encountered in this sport.
It makes me proud to be part of it people!
Thanks again ladies, and if you ever need paddlers down here, you just let me know.
