The FCRCC 200m Knockout will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019 (Qualifying event for those teams wishing to go to the National Championships)
This popular Knockout event sells out each year where teams will race two 200 meter heats to qualify into one of several similar-times “Knockout Divisions”, and then a 200 meter semi-final to determine placement & ranking in a Knockout Division. Each Division’s final will be a Knockout series of 200 meter races. All teams will be in the first final race; the bottom team(s) in that first final race will be knocked out. The survivors will have 5 minutes to return to the start line – and then race again. The Knockouts will continue until there is only one team left standing (or more likely, slumped over & gasping for air …)!
All teams in the Mixed Regatta and Knockout are guaranteed at least FOUR races.
Teams can enter additional crews for Women’s Knockout (no qualifying heats, limited to 14 crews).
